This past weekend, Spring into the Arts returned to Clark County. The rain and overcast skies did not deter people from making their way out to support the local artists that were showing at various locations all over the county. The art-centered weekend started on Friday at 2 p.m. and concluded on Sunday at 3 p.m. You can find the brochure and information on other events around the county at clarkcountywi.org.

Two of the locations that were showcasing artists and their art were the Old School in Owen and Esther Niedzwiecki’s family farm. The Old School also had a silent auction where people could bid on various items. There were eight artists who showed at the Old School, including three new artists from Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire showing for the first time. The art presented included acrylic and oil paintings, jewelry, metal lawn ornaments, mixed-media art, pottery, candles, and various fiber art. Esther Niedzwiecki showed her acrylic paintings at her family's Woodknot Hollow Farm out on County Road N. This is the last time that Esther will be showing at the farm that inspired so much of her artwork. She did say that she would probably be showing her artwork at various events held at the Old School throughout the year.
